Elizabeth Jeffery, LCSW

Licensed Therapist

Elizabeth Jeffery is a licensed clinical social worker who offers a warm, supportive space for young adults and adults navigating life’s changes. She believes that therapy works best when clients feel truly heard, respected, and met exactly where they are. Her goal is to help clients feel less alone as they move through challenges and toward meaningful, lasting change.

Elizabeth works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, acute stressors, and family or relationship dynamics, as well as those adjusting to career shifts or other major life transitions. She understands how overwhelming change can feel and partners closely with clients to help them build clarity, confidence, and resilience.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and compassionate, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practices, psychotherapy, and solution-focused therapy. Sessions with Elizabeth are guided by teamwork, curiosity, and practical strategies, while always honoring each client’s unique experience and pace.

Elizabeth offers both in-person and telehealth sessions, with evening availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University and her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Keuka College. Elizabeth began practicing at The Counseling Place in 2026.

Outside of the therapy room, Elizabeth is family-oriented, adventurous, and endlessly curious about the world. Born and raised in the Finger Lakes, she deeply values her connection to the region while also embracing any opportunity to travel and explore new places. This balance of rootedness and curiosity informs her work and her genuine interest in each client’s story.
